Liz was great to work with she made the cake and cupcakes for my daughter’s wedding including delivery and set up. Everything was beautiful and the cake was delicious we had chocolate,vanilla and banana cupcakes all with buttercream icing AND it was all made without any dairy, eggs or nuts (since the bride is allergic). She even made the cookies for her shower party. I will definitely recommend this bake shop.
Liz was so wonderful to work with! She did such a beautiful job on my wedding cake! It was exactly what I wanted and not to mention delicious! We had a variety of cupcakes for our guests and they were all a hit. You really can't go wrong with any flavor! Halo has the best cupcakes in the Rockford area. I highly recommend working with Liz for any event, big or small! She's awesome!!!

This Bakeshop treated us so well! We just had our wedding and got a two tier cake in their birthday cake flavor and some cupcakes for the rehearsal in their strawberry champagne, chocolate on chocolate (cant remember the name), and apple crisp. All amazing. The best cakes and cupcakes I have EVER had. I am not a cake person at all but this is the exception, so so so delicious. Liz is also amazing, very friendly and willing to help with anything you might need. Definitely give this place a shot if you haven't before!!
WOW! I cannot express in words how much we appreciate this bakery. We ordered a Lemon cake with Raspberry and Buttercream filling, Cinnamon Rolls, and a variety of flavors for Scones, Muffins and Macarons for a baby shower brunch. EVERYTHING was amazing. Cake was beautiful and moist and delicious. Scones were so good and not your basic dry scone, Muffins were fresh and amazing and the Macarons were perfect (not an easy task) highly recommend the Pistachio. Overall Experience was Wonderful, we will use them again!
Liz is amazing! Her cupcakes were absolutely perfect for our wedding. We loved having such a great selection of flavors to choose from. We also asked for delivery, cupcake holder rental, and setup, and it helped us a lot when we were scrambling to get the wedding area prepped. If I lived in Rockford, I'd go every week to try all the new flavors she makes. So yummy!
Liz just absolutely knocked it out of the park! My daughter’s wedding cake was SO GOOD! We received so inquiry’s on who made the cake, perfectly flavored (almond) with raspberry filling and so beautiful. She also did 50 assorted cupcakes and not a single one was left. Her prices are also very fair. Would 100% recommend.
My go to every year! Our favorite is the vegan, strawberry shortcake. It has the right balance of flavor and not overly sweet. The icing is amazing!
Liz at Halo is absolutely AMAZING! I did ONE consultation with her to show her my ideas and what I was looking for. I stopped back in once to change the shape a little and to tell her what flavors I wanted, and that was it. TRUST HER PROCESS! I didn’t have to worry about a single thing. She saw my vision and exceeded my expectations. The cake was set up and ready to go on time and looked and tasted amazing. THANK YOU LIZ!!
